Three Rockets Hit U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Reports Say

Three rockets were launched at Iraq Sunday night and struck the American embassy in the capital of Baghdad, the AFP news agency reported.

Other reports indicated that four rockets had landed in the green zone in the city, causing no injuries.

I did some Google searching on it and only came up with Kurdistan24 speculating on who did it. I am now waiting to see how long it takes for U.S. to respond militarily.

Just a slight headache, two Tylenol and you’re good to go.

He is such a boob, know nothing. I don’t see how anyone in the military can stomach the sight of him, especially after his comments on the troops with TBIs. Just sickening how a grown ass man can be that ignorant.

US embassy in Iraq hit by rockets

The US Embassy in Baghdad was targeted in a rocket attack on Sunday, with at least one projectile hitting the heavily fortified compound.

Officials remained tight-lipped on the details of the attack. According to a security source cited by the AFP news agency, one rocket hit an embassy cafeteria while two other landed nearby.

Other agencies spoke of five Katyusha rockets fired and at least one of the projectiles hitting the embassy complex.

Following the news of the shelling, the US state department called on Baghdad to "fulfill its obligations to protect our diplomatic facilities."
