Trump reelection campaign readying first major ad campaign
Source: The Hill
A Trump campaign official confirmed to The Hill that the campaign is dropping seven figures on a national ad spree praising the Presidents management of the coronavirus crisis.
Trump and White House officials have become increasingly bullish about his administrations response to the coronavirus and the ensuing recovery, which have become the cornerstone of the 2020 race.
The new ads mark a reversal for the Trump campaign, which had resisted going on the airwaves in part to avoid the perception that it was seeking to politicize the coronavirus crisis. However, GOP officials appeared alarmed in recent days over early warnings signs about Trumps reelection prospects.
After the president enjoyed an initial polling bounce, recent surveys have shown a noticeable drop in both Trumps overall approval rating and voters approval of his handling of the pandemic, which has infected over a million people in the country.

(14,175 posts)Have a production team ready at the go. Stay up all night if you have to with the counter ad. Like you said, point by point. Get it out the very next day. And run those on the exact same media outlets that Trump's ran his on a day earlier. You just KNOW it will be chalk full of lies. So don't allow those lies to fester for even a day.
