Mike Pence Admits He Messed Up During His Visit With Mayo Clinic Coronavirus Team

The vice president was the only one at the event not wearing a facial covering.

Vice President Mike Pence says he made a mistake last week when he visited the Mayo Clinic and didn’t wear a mask amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“I didn’t think it was necessary, but I should have worn a mask,” Pence said during a Fox News virtual town hall on Sunday.

everybody else was wearing masks and that the Pence people notified reporters that
the clinic had a policy that made masks mandatory it is easy to see on how Pence could
miss "it."

Pence didn't wear a mask because he is a dick, he is still trying to sell the meme that
the C-19 outbreak is behind us, Trump's mouth breathing base doesn't wear 'em, and
besides it is time to open things back up.

Poor brother Pence. (not really) He obviously knew beforehand and made the calculated decision to please his boss rather than do the PC thing. Even just to prevent the wrath of Donnie, whether he was told to not wear it or not. it was cowardly. Then lied about his cowardice. Now, because GOP strategists stepped in to tell him that polically, it was a mistake, as far as perception to the public, and he knows it too, he gives out this careful modification, said in a way to still echo his bosses dismissal of the danger.
