I really don't understand how Trump can unilaterally renege on treaties and memberships and funding passed by Congress. Just because he DOES, I guess, and no one can stop him.

I'm not quite sure how that would have helped us, really. The WHO told the world about COVID-19. The world ignored that organization's warnings.

So, that's why we should stop funding the WHO? How does that make any sense?

The Republic of China has done very well combating covid-19 and is having success with vaccine trials, keeping them away had nothing to do with dealing with this disease and everything to do with politics. If that is how the WHO is run why should we bother with it? I hope this spurs The Republic of China to flat out declare its self a free country, demand membership in the U.N. so we can end this ridiculous political theater.

When there was plenty of evidence supporting the contrary. Trump is an evil fuck but the WHO is not without failings and shouldn’t be held up on a pedestal IMO.

WHO is the leading edge btw in monitoring the world-wide effort to develop a proven vaccine. If for example a WHO member government or private WHO member lab rolls out even limited dosages of said vaccine by say October, they will first send it to any country, China included, before we in America would get it, let alone for free. This would kill Trumpy as WHO can claim that well, since you blocked all aid and dropped your membership in our organization, why should we give you any doses?

Only Trumpy, in the middle of a world-wide pandemic, would shut off all relations with the only world-class and world-wide health organization that has helped all countries since 1946 in fighting all kinds of diseases. Read all about it below.

it is always all about avoiding blame for Trump. So, Trump is threatening funding until the WHO agrees to accept responsibility for Trump's incompetence.

The problem is you also can't trust Trump. So, if you accept the deal with Trump, he will still withhold funding because the WHO has now accepted the blame directed at Trump.
