[Wisc.] Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Dallet defends boat outing after voting to uphold stay-at-home

State Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Dallet has come under criticism in conservative circles for going boating over the Memorial Day weekend after she previously voted to uphold Gov. Tony Evers' stay-at-home order.
"Lockdown for thee, but not for me," Fox News host Tucker Carlson said earlier this week.
Dallet, a liberal justice who was elected to the high court in 2018, is now responding to her critics.
In a short statement, Dallet spokeswoman Alanna Conley said the justice did nothing wrong by going boating with some friends.

Just because Repubs say stupid stuff why does this media feel compelled to report and amplify every stupid utterance, why bother to go out, get her response, and create a so called controversy where one need not exist.
Some stupid stuff is just not worth bothering about.

Friday's new cases accounted for about 5.4% of the more than 13,600 tests processed since Thursday.
That's also a new record for the number of tests run in a single day, up significantly from Thursday's record-setting number of 10,626.
As of Friday afternoon, 17,707 Wisconsinites had tested positive for the virus and 568 had died, an increase of 18 from the previous day. About 60% had recovered, and more than 233,500 people had tested negative.
