White House defends violent crackdown in Portland and warns feds could enter NYC
Source: New York Daily News
White House spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany vigorously defended the controversial federal crackdown on protesters in Portland, Oregon on Tuesday.
Facing a barrage of questions about the harsh crackdown, McEnany said the feds have every legal right to defend federal courthouses and statues that have been under attack by racial justice protesters.
The mouthpiece of President Trump took a partisan potshot at Democratic leaders of cities like New York and Chicago, ticking off a list of statistics depicting spikes in crime.
Democrat streets are out of control, McEnany said. They should accept the help that President Trump is offering since they are clearly unable to do the job.

(905 posts)Please, please, please Mr. pResident-in-Grief. Please just try to invade NYC with your jackbooted mercenaries under federal contract to the Department of Homeland Security.
Maybe that's just the spark needed to inspire the New York Times to take a deeper look at the terms of all those "security" contracts DHS has signed off on recently. Yes, please, go right ahead. I'm sure the financial pretzel-twisters who just restructured Constellis to save it from bankruptcy will be just thrilled to see the company's mercenary holdings like ACADEMI, Triple Canopy, Centerra, OMNIPLEX, Olive Group, Edinburgh International, and more splattered across the news as tRump's henchmen. Yes, yes, yes. Please try to pull this stunt in NYC. Do it. Do it. Do it.
