Herman Cain Remains Hospitalized For COVID-19 Weeks After Infection

Former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain on Monday is still in the hospital receiving treatment for COVID-19, after announcing earlier this month that he tested positive for the coronavirus. Cain was hospitalized on July 1.

Cain’s Twitter account said Monday after that he’s still receiving oxygen treatment for his lungs. However, the tweet added that doctors said that his “other organs and systems are strong.”

According to a statement posted to his Twitter account earlier this month, Cain “developed symptoms serious enough” that required hospitalization and that he had spent a night in an Atlanta-area hospital. Cain’s statement said that at the time he did not require a respirator and is “awake and alert.”

Although Cain’s statement said that “there is no way of knowing for sure how or where” he contracted the coronavirus, Cain attended President Trump’s poorly attended Tulsa rally last month, which was held indoors and did not require face masks to be worn.

Regardless what anyone thinks. Too much untaxed money out there and nothing will ever catch it except sales.
But hey, we'll see what (fingers crossed) Pres biden suggests that will drop the debt.

He doesn't think ordinary Americans should have health care, so why should he have what he'd deny others?

Herman Cain Remains Hospitalized 1 Month After COVID-19 Diagnosis

By Hayley Miller

Herman Cain, a 2012 Republican presidential candidate, remains hospitalized one month after being diagnosed with COVID-19, his team said Monday. “We know it’s been a few days since we last gave you an update on the boss,” Cain’s team wrote in a statement shared to his Twitter account. “But he is still in the hospital being treated with oxygen for his lungs.” The statement continued:

In the meantime, the doctors say his other organs and systems are strong. Re-strengthening the lungs is a long and slow process, and the doctors want to be thorough about it.

We’d like him to be able to come home now, which is frustrating, but we’re glad the doctors are being thorough and making sure they do the job right. Thank you for praying, everyone. Please keep doing it. He really is getting better, which means it is working.

Cain, 74, learned he tested positive for the virus on June 29, according to a statement on his Twitter account earlier this month. Two days later, he was hospitalized at an Atlanta-area hospital after developing “serious” symptoms. His diagnosis came less than two weeks after he attended President Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Cain, who co-chairs Black Voices For Trump, tweeted a photo of himself without a mask on at the event, which was attended by several thousand people.

Several Trump campaign staffers and Secret Service agents tested positive for the coronavirus following the rally. Roughly two weeks after the event, Tulsa officials reported a surge in coronavirus cases in the city. Dan Calabrese, an editor for HermanCain.com, said earlier this month that he’s unsure where Cain may have contracted the virus.

I mean, it's not like people don't already know the fucker is in the hospital with COVID-19. What's happening to Black people all across the country is also happening to him.

Is he really going to continue to back this mis-administration now that he's personally experienced the fallout of their mind-shatteringly stupid response to the virus? Is he really going to pass up this opportunity to speak out in support of Black people who are disproportionately affected by COVID-19?

Does being a Republican mean actually selling your soul? It really does appear to be the case.

They are very lucky that the health-care workers he and Trump insulted are consummate professionals and dedicated to helping patients. Nursing and medical care save at this point-- there will be no miracle treatment coming to him.
