Prosecutors in Milwaukee County have reached a tentative plea deal with Kelly Rindfleisch, a former aide to Gov. Scott Walker when he was Milwaukee County executive.
Rindfleisch, 43, of Columbus, was scheduled to go to trial next week on four felony charges of misconduct in public office for allegedly doing campaign work while at her taxpayer-funded job as Walker's deputy chief of staff.
Instead, the two sides will meet in Milwaukee County Circuit Court at 1:30 p.m. Thursday to present a tentative deal before Judge David Hansher.
Rindfleisch would be the second former Walker staff to plead guilty to campaign-related charges. The other is Walker's former constituent services director, Darlene Wink.
Walker was subpoenaed to testify on Tuesday.

(2,474 posts)--either option seems more risky than simply paying off Kelly to take the fall, so I'm guessing maybe Scotty just sweetened the pot considerably?--stay tuned!
