"What is this idea that it's my way or the highway?" said Clinton of GOP opponent Richard Mourdock who upended sitting Sen. Richard Lugar in the GOP primary, leaving the Republican candidate to face Democrat Joe Donnelly in Indiana's elections.
Clinton continued: "I was raised to believe nobody's right all the time. Maybe Mr. Mourdock is, I don't know. He's way right all the time."

Clinton jumped on the opportunity to bring the effects of the Obama administration to the state level, criticizing Gregg's gubernatorial opponent Rep. Mike Pence and Mourdock for opposing the auto bailout.
"John Gregg's opponent voted against it, and Joe Donnelly's opponent tried to kill it in court," Clinton said killing two birds with one stone. "You've got to give them credit: They didn't just speak out against it, I mean they took a real stand. They said, 'let's put those suckers out of work as quick as we can.'"

(2,472 posts)THEIR man Mitch was bad enough and enough punishment to last all of us for a few lifetimes. Pence would be even worse.

(14,061 posts)For the life of me, I don't understand the thinking behind John Gregg's campaign. All his folksy ads said zilch. NOW he's starting to get serious. Pence has acted like he's had the race in the bag since spring, which is a huge sense of entitlement on his part that I think Gregg could have used to make a point about Gregg's qualifications for the office. *But since this is Indiana, it might not make a difference. But I think a lot of people still have no clue about Gregg or what he wants to do.)
That said, the quality of ads for all candidates this year -- especially those funded by PACs -- have been atrocious.
I'm cautiously optimistic about the Donnelly/Mourdock race, and I consider that to be the most important vote I'll cast this year. I don't know who scares me more -- Governor Pence, or Senator Mourdock.

(10,336 posts)the Governor's race to me, though not by much. Pence is 10 times worse than Daniels ever was. And Daniels was horrific, he just was able to gloss over his epic failures and highlight some bs stuff.
