I don't like to see this happen. I have the impression that Jeter has done a lot for his team and his city. I would rather see all of them whole and sound. Then, let the Yankees lose.

I hope he heals well and quickly and doesn't rush the healing process so it never quite heals right (too many pros do this and shorten their years of playing).

He's from K'Zoo, and he's well-loved there even though he plays for the Yankees.

What I've seen of him, he's actually got more pop in his bat than Jeter. Although not as good a hitter.

This is news of interest to some of our readers. but I actually like Jeter. I think it's possible to like and respect various individuals, but hate the collective.
