Top Romney Surrogate Admits GOP Is Exploiting Libya Incident For Political Gain

During an appearance on CNN’s Starting Point on Monday, the former New York City mayor argued that the administration is purposely delaying investigations into the incident until after the election to “cover up” its own failures. But asked to substantiate the claim, Giuliani became agitated. He announced that he did not have to give Obama the benefit of the doubt or withhold judgment about the incident until a full investigation is complete because the president is a Democrat:

SOLEDAD O’BRIEN (HOST): The one thing I’m debating with you is just specifics. When you quote
someone or you paraphrase them the only thing I ask is that you get that accurate. That’s all I ask.

GIULIANI: We’re also entitled to interpret what the president is saying without this, like, massive defense of everything he says.

Q: Do you think, foreign policy, including Benghazi is going to play a significant role in the election? Because my bias would be to think — it’s really interesting for us to talk about – but I think people are essentially going to vote on the economy.

GIULIANI: I think if, in fact, this becomes a question of the president’s lack of leadership, then it cuts into the economy as well. It’s beginning to become like that. The White house — the White House has been remarkably — The White House has fumbled this — whether it’s a deliberate cover-up or they’re making it look like a cover-up they have fumbled the ball four or five times here. Several contradictions. Excuse me if being the fact that I’m a Republican, I don’t give them as you do, all the benefit of the doubt.

And I guess he could have credibility if he could actually speak in, you know, sentences.

But he's not making any sense.

ask Rudy about this quote about Romney?

Giuliani On Romney: "I Have Never Seen A Guy Change His Positions So Many Times"

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani slams Mitt Romney on MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

"I have never seen a guy -- and I've run a lot of elections, supported a lot of people -- I've never seen a guy change his positions on so many things, so fast, on a dime. Everything."

Joe Scarborough argues that "Newt has switched pretty quickly on issues as well."

"Nothing, absolutely nothing like what Mitt Romney did from governor of Massachusetts to candidate for president," Giuliani responds. "Pro-choice, pro-life. Pro-choice because somebody, a close friend died, and he became pro-choice because this woman died of an abortion. Then he figures out there are embryos, and he changes. He was pro-gun control. Fine. Then he becomes a lifetime member of the NRA. He was pro cap-and-trade. Now he's against cap-and-trade. He was pro-mandate for the whole country, then he becomes anti-mandate and he takes that page out of his book and republishes the book. I could go on and on."

They just let him get away with his own flip flops.

The Bush, Cheney, Rove Cabal used 911 for political gain and as a justification for everything they wanted to do! Why does this surprise anyone? At the same time, it is pathetically amusing to see the Republican demanding answers for what happened in Benghazi. These are the same people who didn't say a word about what really happened on 911.

Let's Compare

A. In 2001, over 3,000 American were killed on American soil and thousands more heroes were exploited for photo ops by the Republicans, who at the same time, didn't 't want to cover any of their medical costs. There was not one Republican who called for a detailed investigation of what really happened on 911.

B. In 2012, 4 Americans were tragically killed during a terrorist attack on foreign soil and the Republicans are screaming like its the next Watergate.

How can people be so stupid as to not see the Republicans for who they really are?

On September 11, 2001, almost every elected Democrat in the country decided to let George W. Bush do whatever he wanted without opposition.

I'm surprised Rudy wasn't more honest and didn't claim that President Obama paid for the attack on the embassy in Libya with American tax dollars, like the robo-call I got 3 weeks ago said he did.

9. HOLD THE NEXT GOP PRESIDENT TO THE SAME STANDARDS
Mon Oct 15, 2012, 05:09 PM
Oct 2012

Whenever, Lord help us, we elect a gop president, I hope to hell that we hold the sob to the same standards as what President Barack Obama has been held to. I hope that we, as Democrats, do everything in our power to insure that the sob serves only one term. I hope that we, as Democrats, refuse to compromise with republicans. I hope that we, as Democrats, ask to see the birth certificate and then scream foul when all that we see is the short version of the "Certificate of Life Birth". I hope that we question whether the next gop president loves the United States of America. I hope that we ask the next gop president to sing all the verses of the National Anthem. I hope that we ask to see all of the gop president's college transcripts. I hope that we challenge the legitimacy of the election that elected the gop president. I hope that we call the next gop president, the French looking sob. Then, when all is said and done, I will say that the gop president, the sob, was elected due to some form of mass hypnosis. I could go on and on. That is all...for right now, anyway!!!

10. NBC Just ran the Romney Clip Glooming Onto to Glenn Dohrerty
Mon Oct 15, 2012, 08:36 PM
Oct 2012

It was first run last week by Jan Crawford, tonight inserted again in my local NBC news by Steve Mandel

I called my local (San Diego) NBC & raised hell...especially since he was a very loved resident of San Diego. I told the nnews editor that even Glenn Doherty's mother had specifically told Romney to STOP exploiting her son's name & death; she told Romney that her son would never have wanted his name used to get votes for Romney. I told my NBC news editor they were a disgrace to journalism to run Romney's lies, especially in a town who knew & respected Doherty.

Romney who seems to be doing one of those Mormon post mortem Baptisms (and acquisitions) of fallen Seal Glenn Doherty. This guy is without shame or decency.
