ES&S vice president accused of peeping

Source: Omaha World Herald

A senior vice president with Omaha-based Election Systems & Software Inc. has pleaded no contest in Dodge County Court to attempting to make a video of a young girl while she was undressing.

According to an arrest warrant filed in Dodge County, John Groh, 63, of North Bend, Neb., placed a video camera in a bathroom on July 7 that recorded an 11-year-old girl as she was preparing to shower. The girl found the camera, viewed the footage of herself and reported it to her older sister and mother.

Sgt. M.C. Ough of the Dodge County Sheriff's Office said Groh's wife turned the camera over to authorities. Groh fled from the state but was arrested Sept. 28 in Florida.

Coverups concerning former Republican Senator Chuck Hagel

opednews.com

Chapter 2 of Bev Harris's book Black Box Voting tells the story of former Nebraska Governor Chuck Hagel.

Hagel won a surprise landslide election against a Democrat who had been leading in the polls. What's suspicious is that the votes were counted by machines produced by Hagel's former company, American Information Systems (later renamed ES&S). Hagel had left the company two weeks before launching his campaign.

Hagel apparently hid the facts about his leadership of and investment in AIS when he submitted required disclosure forms.

This story was also covered by Commondreams, by Thom Hartmann, and by the Hill, which states that "ES&S makes 'half' the voting machines used today, and 85% of the ones that elected Hagel in '02 and '96 (i.e. nine months before he upset Nelson. ) " The Hill article and Harris' book allege a coverup in ethics investigations and a forced resignation.

Reminds me of the upper hierarchy of the Catholic Church or any other authoritarian institution.

They all know one another's sins. Covering for one another is the glue that holds them together.

One's got to wonder if a creepy fellow who has been charged with this sort of crime shared his sick "hobby" with others.

Just taking one guy out isn't enough when they may be connected to other crimes and criminal organizations.

It's not good to see Bev's name here. She's a disruptor, and not simply on DU.

those little black boxes. I thought that he might make a run for the GOP prez nomination, but instead, he quietly melted away.

It's a good thing his voting machine company never makes any errors. Just imagine if his company was as lame as this VICE PRESIDENT of the company. Why, who could trust them and the way they program the vote-counters?

Nope. We can rest secure knowing that this VICE PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY has no influence upon what his company does.
