Axelrod: Romney’s ‘Behind And Not Catching Up’
Source: TPM
David Axelrod, senior adviser to the Obama campaign, argued that the Romney campaign's foray into Pennsylvania was a result of being behind in the battleground states and not catching up during an appearance on Fox News Sunday.
They've tried to expand the map because they know that in states like Ohio where they have to win -- no Republican has ever been elected without carrying the state of Ohio -- they're behind and they're not catching up, Axelrod said.
They're desperately looking for somewhere to try and dislodge some electoral votes to win this Axelrod said. And I can tell you, that's not gonna happen.

(2,800 posts)OTOH, I sometimes think Democrats would be better off loudly and publically refusing to ever go on a Faux Noos broadcast, because Faux isn't a news organization.

(111 posts)To me, this screams just ONE thing - why would Axelrod appear on FOX with this? Because every single talking head has been telling their braindead audience that this election has been won by Romney - just how stupid are they gonna look come Tuesday when the result isn't even close? So, they bring in arch-enemy Dem to break the news, to open up the info-lock, so to speak. Hear that giant wind rush sound? That's FOX blowing the air from the suction seal on their audience's brains. Let the screaming commence!!!

(74 posts)PBO's community organizing as something to sneer at and be contemptuous of would eventually have to swallow those words!

(74 posts)I can't help but think that classes will be taught and books will be written using OFA playbooks from 2008 and 2012. They have showing the nation how to get things done! Of course, it helps when you have the MOST talented, intelligent, committed President we have ever had the privilege to elect to work for and with!

(151 posts)we have enough votes to get beyond the voter suppression, voter intimidation, provisional ballots being ignored, etc.
what Axelrod is saying "we got this"
woohoo...
but I"d like to see this election as a way to fix election dishonesty.. machine tampering.. flipped votes.. the whole 9 yards..

(2,781 posts)If we win Ohio, and some other battleground states where the Repubs - and notably, their evil shadowy Super PACs - have pumped a ridiculous amount of money into equally ridiculous, lie-filled ads, it will show us that at least ENOUGH Americans realize bullshit when they hear it. And it'll also make me cheer that all of those evil greedy bastards threw away all those zillions. And that a pasted-on-smile lying sack-o-shit like Romney can't buy the presidency.
