This is what the reality would be were that to happen. I simply don't subscribe to the "swath of mainstream economists" that think the economy will improve no matter who is elected. Make no mistake, Romney's plan takes too much out of spending which will assuredly cause a dip in aggregate demand and that spells a recession whereas Obama's proposals will keep the economy moving forward, probably at a faster clip than the past couple of years due to infrastructure spending and the improving housing market.

Romney's plan also will explode the deficit because of the tax cuts to the top 2% and the massive increase in defense spending. In fact, most of the dire things he claims would happen if Obama is re-elected are the very things that would happen should he be elected. Now how ironic is that?

This is almost as funny as The Onion's enforcement of John Edwards last week.
