Final pre-election Daily Kos/SEIU State of the Nation poll: Obama 50-48
Source: Daily Kos
The candidates for President are Democrat Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romney. If the election was today, who would you vote for?
Obama 50 (49)
Romney 48 (49)
Three weeks ago, Mitt Romney led 50-46 on the strength of a 52-38 advantage with independents. Romney now leads them just 48-45, while President Barack Obama has better consolidated his base: Obama leads Dems 89-10, while Romney leads Republicans 87-12.
Three weeks ago, Latinos chose Obama 62-36. This week, it's 71-29. Zero undecided. Obama has also solidified his support among Union households, going from 56-42 three weeks ago to 62-35 today. Finally, Obama's 53-41 lead among moderates three weeks ago is now 63-34.

(115 posts)The one I dislike the most is that slimy sneaky chuck todd.
you should have seen his electoral college numbers analysis. It was a joke. Exactly the opposite, almost the same numbers 300+ for mittshit less than 250 for Obama. What a joke. He is slimy sewer scum.

(796 posts)Per Greenberg and Carville - its over. Greenberg tweet gives the credit to Progressive with a rational explanation - we turn out for Presidential election years and not so much in between - thats when the creepers win.

Must hand Obama the progressive agenda on Wed and tell him for the next four years do these things, and in 2014 back and fight for electing more Progressive candidates for the Senate and especially the Congress, as well as Progressives running for Govs and legislators in states.
Us Progressives turn out to vote for moderate Democrats like Obama as a defensive move to hold off the pain that letting right-wingers will surely cause. Then after the election - we must now hold their feet to the fire on the Supreme Court, Climate, war spending and budget priorities for Medicare for all, infrastructure, green building, teachers and schools, workers rights, womens' rights, LGBT rights, and childrens' rights.

(5,191 posts)Even if Obama wins at this point, it'll still be incredibly depressing that nearly half of the electorate voted for such a total neanderthal. Can the country in which we live really be this primitive? I'm beginning to think that no matter who wins, I still need to emigrate to Sweden.

(78 posts)I keep thinking about how cool President Obama was at the Press Corps Dinner the night before the OBL raid. His team knows what's going on, and I think you'll see arrests of some high profile individuals who are trying to rig this election for Romney.
Another thing, I wish someone would ask these dense talking heads; how the polling data is being collected, because I have not received one phone call.
I believe Chuck Todd and other like him are being paid to skew things toward Romney. They have no credibility, which is why I don't spend too much time listening to them. It is obvious that they are being paid.
