For anyone who ever thought they were too busy to vote, meet 21-year-old Galicia Malone.
The south suburban Dolton mom-to-be was spotted at her polling place Tuesday morning on her way to give birth at a local hospital.

Cook County Clerk David Orr said Malone's contractions were five minutes apart when she showed up around 8:30 a.m. at her precinct's location named, yes, New Life Celebration Church.

The clerk's office said Malone's water had already broken when she made the stop to vote in her first presidential election.

His favorite story is of going on a call where a woman had died suddenly of heart failure. When he asked the husband to describe what had happened he said that she had just correctly guessed the final question on Jeopardy and then she just slumped over and had no pulse. We're huge Jeopardy fans, it was hard for him not to laugh.

who needs to personally adopt this woman and her baby.
I swear.
I am so moved!
It also shows why early voting is a good idea. One could always be too busy with really important stuff to get to it.

This is what America is about. This young woman is not only voting for herself, or for the struggle of our ancestors to have the power to vote; she is also voting for her child and future generations. She's exemplary!

If I live to be 89 I will be able to vote for a President on my birthday. The last one was President Obama.
