Source: huffingtonpost.com
WASHINGTON -- The movement to impeach President Barack Obama has been launched, just days after he won a second term in the White House.
The Conservative Majority Fund, a conservative group known primarily for its birther conspiracy spreading, has launched a robocall campaign to gin up support for the president's impeachment.
The call, emailed to The Huffington Post by Shaun Dakin of StopPoliticalCalls.org, reads in part as follows:
Our only recourse now is to move forward with the full impeachment of President Obama. We suspect that Obama is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors ...

(18,641 posts)The right wing has carte blanche to reinterpret or ignore the Constitution any way they please and the Supreme Court has no say so in this. This is their privilege as conservative citizens of the United States.
It's just a good thing that they don't know what carte blanche means.

(3,248 posts)The movement to impeach Clinton started long before he ever met Monica Lewinsky.
It was an impeachment in search of an excuse for 6 years before they finally ginned up a flimsy argument to hang it on.

(257 posts)... and that there may be grounds for impeachment as is laid out in the constitution. Further, he may not even be a U.S. citizen because nobody, I mean no one, has seen an actual physical copy of his birth certificate. Impeachment is our only option. And Republicans are already considering Obama investigations. As the nation's most effective conservative group we are launching the official impeach Obama campaign.
"As the nation's most effective conservative group"
That is amazing!
Who knew that these upstanding folk were the nation's most effective conservative group?

(29 posts)I, for one am sick to death of the Republicans rotten disrespectful attitude about our president.
So, they are disappointed that they lost? They thought they had all the bases covered with the vote suppression and their 10 page ballots and they still failed. Can't they get it through their head that they were defeated because they were/are disgusting and we have lost all respect for their loony ways. Do you think we were happy when BUSH got in twice when he was really so bad?Republicans are defeating themselves. How dumb can they get?We do not like the Ryan plan. We don't like the way they are freeloading on the middle class insisting we pay the bulk of the tax load . We will fight for this wonderful man, our president.
