Barr says he'll vote for 'Republican ticket' in November

Source: The Hill

Former Attorney General Bill Barr said Wednesday he will vote for the “Republican ticket” in the November presidential election.

“I think it’s my duty to pick the person I think would do the least harm to the country,” Barr said on Fox News’s “America’s Newsroom.” “And in my mind, that’s — I will vote the Republican ticket.”

Barr’s comments come in spite of past criticism of his ex-boss, former President Trump, who is the presumptive Republican nominee for president. In December, Barr said his successor in a potential second Trump administration would have to be against the former president’s “abuse of government power.”

“Trump needs people around him who will push back and help keep him on the straight and narrow,” Barr said.

Barr can't even bring himself to say Trump's name while making this statement:

“I think it’s my duty to pick the person I think would do the least harm to the country, and in my mind, that’s — I will vote the Republican ticket.”

Barr is not stupid, he knows Trump would do more harm to the country than Biden. The only possible conclusion is that Barr is fully on board with that harm, even if he can't bring himself to say Trump's name in public.

That would put him solidly in the camp of the Dictatorial, Authoritarian party. IOW, he wants the U.S. to become the next country to be led by a Dictator. And he sure as hell doesn't want it to be run by a Democrat. So, his only choice is *rump, although he knows how dangerous this man is to world peace and order.

I say, Barr should be arrested as a traitor to the country... but it probably doesn't fit the original definition of a statement within the Constitution... or as we read it today, anyway. I see it differently... but because I see our "enemies" as not of a foreign ilk, but of the domestic variety. And the PTB just can't bring themselves to go after other "Americans." (sigh)

'Former White House Ethics Chief Calls Bill Barr 'Most Dangerous Attorney General in US History'
(snip) Richard W. Painter shared a New York Times opinion article Tuesday saying that Barr is on a theocratic mission and is using Justice Department power to promote "religious nationalism." Painter argued that Barr is subverting the Constitution and appealing to conservative evangelicals for support. The former Bush administration attorney also touted a congressional candidate in Indiana who was the lone Notre Dame University Law School faculty member to publicly criticize what he called Barr's "dominionist rant" there in an October speech.

"Mr. Barr has embraced wholesale the 'religious liberty' rhetoric of today's Christian nationalist movement. When religious nationalists invoke 'religious freedom,' it is typically code for religious privilege,"

Beware, the Christians are making a power grab.
