Ohio Secretary of State Husted changes tune, says voter fraud 'very rare'
Voter Fraud
December 12, 2012
By: Shannon Webster

Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted is one of the loudest voices against voter fraud. He screamed about bloated voter rolls in Ohio. He violated at least one court order about early voting.

Now he's changing his tune.

In an interview Monday afternoon with the Cincinnati Inquirer, he stated voter fraud "is a very rare occurrence." His statement conflicts with views held by Fox News and Conservative pundits. Nearly half of Republican voters believe voter fraud by now-defunct ACORN stole the election for President Obama.

The Ohio Board of Elections is currently sorting through hundred of ballots from people who attempted to vote twice. Husted maintains these ballots are not fraudulent. He said, "they tried to vote twice, but the system caught it. We shouldn’t overreact."

Husted also told the Cincinnati Inquirer federal taxpayers need to replace old and outdated voter machines in Ohio before the 2014 midterm elections. “Nobody really has that kind of funding available. But people are always asking, ‘What could Washington do?’ Well, this is something it could do," Husted said.

Shoplifters don't get a chance to pay after they have left the store, so those that tried to vote twice should have been arrested. Where are they? Who Are they? I bet "they" don't even exist.

Still, I'd hate to think we've got Obama because Husted has been 'doing it wrong' all this time.

I suspect the reason Mr. Husted is suddenly so unconcerned about voter fraud is that he found that the majority of instances of attempted voter fraud were perpetraited by Republicans.
