Husband taken into custody in shooting death of Wauwatosa Police officer

WAUWATOSA - City leaders in Wauwatosa confirmed Wednesday that Benjamin Sebena was taken into custody in connection with the shooting death of his wife, Wauwatosa Police officer Jennifer Lynn Sebena.

Sebena is being held at the West Allis Police Department and is being questioned.

Officer Sebena, 30, was found shot to death early Monday morning.

He is a former Marine who served in Iraq and suffers from PTSD. The Azana Spa and Sikh temple shooters here in Wisconsin were also vets.


We need to take better care of our vets.

He was a member of one of the huge Christian churches here. He was featured in a video on how to make a relationship work.

They showed it on the local news the other night.

He was my first suspect.
