Big drop in those who say being gay's a sin, study says

Source: Detroit Free Press

Americans who believe being gay is a sin are now a minority — a shift that a Southern Baptist-affiliated research group links to President Barack Obama's changed opinion of gay marriage.

A November survey from Nashville-based LifeWay Research found 37% of Americans polled said "yes" when asked if homosexual behavior is a sin. Forty-five percent said it was not. Seventeen percent didn't know.

That's a major change from LifeWay's September 2011 survey, when 44% said homosexuality was a sin, 43% said it wasn't and 13% didn't know.

he could watch from above, snickering and giggling while gay people denied themselves expression of their sexuality and the fullness of life, and happiness.

And if God IS cruel, then people want no part in worshipping such a deity.

Unless you enjoy suffering and being abused.

But as one Black pastor pointed out on CNN or one of those.. if one is a Red letter Christian of which I am. Jesus never actually went there. So knowing that the Old Book is a history book and nothing more. Since it's the new book we are to follow. Can't say this out loud much more. Such as I've been told looking at nude significant others isn't an actual sin if neither person is married (gets tricky if she is and she's doing it anyway) (this from a college Professor at a rather right leaning Lutheran college. ) And they considered that less of a sin than being Gay. Many of whom I think are more BI than Gay. Although this seems to be the case more in females than males. (seems to be.. ie only Elton John do I know to be Bisexual. )

But I bet you pray out loud in church and your 'pastor' leads prayers that are actually sermons? Of course! Jesus, in those red letter, says that only hypocrites pray in public. So why do all those churches pray out loud, in public? Why do the words of Jesus not count at all. He said 'don't do that'. But you do.
Jesus has nothing to do with the fabricated improvisational behaviors you all string together and call your religion.
Your post is nearly as ignorant of your own damn religion as you are of LGBT people. Bisexual people and gay people are not the same people,. You need to learn up a bit.
New Testament says women have to remain silent in public, never ask a question of anyone but their husbands and that only alone at home. Do you agree with that?
It says that it is a sin for a woman to wear any garment intended to draw attention to her beauty. Also a sin for women to wear anything costly. Do you agree with that?
It says 'slaves, obey your masters'. Do you agree with that?
