Updated: Police arrest man at the (WI) Capitol after threat, claims of molotov cocktail
Source: Wisconsin State Journal
Capitol police arrested a man on Tuesday who allegedly threatened to come to the state Capitol to hurt people, and told police who stopped him after he entered the building that he had a molotov cocktail in his backpack.

Smith of Milwaukee, saying he stated on his Facebook page that he was going to come to the Capitol to do harm.

(9,124 posts)Marquis said another black man was stopped for questioning prior to Smith's arrest because he "had all the characteristics of Mr. Smith and was carrying a bag."
Colin Bowden, 25, a student at Madison Area Technical College's Downtown campus, said he was the man apprehended. He said he was walking through the Capitol on his way to class when he was handcuffed and taken for questioning. Bowden, who is black, said he didn't think he fit the description.
"I don't buy their explanation," Bowden said. "From the picture I have (of Smith), there are distinct differences."
