Police Say O’Keefe Undercut Moran ‘Voter Fraud’ Investigation

Source: TPM

ERIC LACH 10:51 AM EST, FRIDAY FEBRUARY 1, 2013

Police in Arlington County, Va. have dropped an investigation into Patrick Moran, the son of Rep. Jim Moran (D-VA), stemming from an election-season "voter fraud" hidden-camera video released by conservative activist James O'Keefe.

Police told a local Patch reporter that both Morans had cooperated with the investigation, but that O'Keefe had not complied with several requests for the full, unedited video in his possession, along with the identity of the videographer.

"Who knows what else could be on the video? Our detective wanted to request those two things, and that party failed to comply," police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck told Patch. "We want the full version. That's our job, to do a thorough investigation. And that's a huge piece of the process right there." In late October, O'Keefe released the video, which showed the younger Moran advising the videographer on how to cast votes under assumed names.

Patrick Moran resigned from his father's campaign shortly after the video's release. A few weeks later, he pleaded guilty to assaulting his girlfriend outside a Washington D.C. bar.

Home of Gov. "Vaginal Probe" McDonnel and State Atty. General Ken "Cooch" Cucinelli. They are more interested in bashing Obama and running for higher office than protecting citizens. Remember the White House Crashers, Tareq and Michaele Salahi? Salahis have a long list of lawsuits (over thirty) brought against them for nonpayment of services, two lawsuits by the State for consumer fraud and charity fraud. The state lawsuit for charity fraud was settled with a fine and the consumer fraud lawsuit is ongoing. Salahi's conducted a limo service where they took money from customers but never provided the service. Victims filed criminal charges but the state chose to sue rather than prosecute. In 2010 in the State of Maryland, Salahis bounced a check for $24,000 to the state liquor board and all the state did was sue them. With all the bankruptcies, creditors stiffed and consumer and charity fraud complaints, its outrageous that the state allowed these two to hurt so many of its citizens. And since O'Keefe is a Republican, doubt that Cucinelli would bring charges.

based on a video that this fucking liar releases? When he released the unedited tapes to the prosecutors in New York and California who investigated ACORN based on his shenanigans, he was exposed as a total fraud.

It's outrageous that this piece of shit isn't behind bars and is still allowed to go around setting up and smearing whatever whomever he wants.

Moran has this sly out of the corner of his eye look and big smile on his face during the entire encounter. He was clearly amused by the suggestions being made by an obvious agent provocateur. I'm sure he wishes he just told the guy to get lost.

and now that the cops are asking for the full, unedited tape, he's scared.

James O'Keefe should be in jail for trying to rape that CNN reporter.

I am wondering if the police could not get a search warrant and seize the raw footage on the basis that O'Keefe might be with holding evidence of a crime.
