Source: Press TV
Pakistani military says it has successfully test-fired a short-range missile capable of carrying nuclear warheads.
According to a statement released by Pakistans military on Monday, NASR missile, which can carry strategic and conventional weapons over a distance of 60 kilometers, has in-flight maneuver capability to carry nuclear warheads of appropriate yield with high accuracy.
NASR has been specially designed to defeat all known Anti Tactical Missile Defence Systems, it added.
This comes after Pakistan successfully conducted the launch of a medium-range ballistic missile capable of carrying nuclear warheads in November, 2012.

(11,014 posts)Pakistan is a terrorist country and shouldn't be allowed to have such weapons.
If we complain about Iran having weapons, why do we allow Pakistan to have them?

(17,937 posts)...now add the fact that Pakistan is the most politically unstable nuclear armed nation on earth. Oh, this is just wonderful news. It's one thing to have nukes. It's altogether another to have advanced, reliable delivery systems.
