The Shia (many of them) believe that the group (who claimed they are) responsible for this one and the January bombing have ties to the ISI and the regional government- meaning many believe the people who are supposed to protect them are complicit with the terrorists.

At least 63 people have been killed and many more wounded in a bomb attack in a Shia-dominated part of the south-western Pakistani city of Quetta.

Yes Virginia(to paraphrase the old Christmas editorial), there are bad people in this world,
regardless of anything about the US at all. Have been long before the USA existed, and to this day.

If only all terrrorists in the world can be handled before they did the event they did.

Vigilantism either private or by group, is not tolerable.

Most minorities have been driven out of Pakistan, and by that I don't mean non Muslims - most of whom were killed or forced out during partition, but non-Sunni Muslims as well.

And no, this is not our fault. While we have never got a great handle on the region, this is what happens when a government gives tacit support to terrorist groups with the hopes of fighting a proxy war (in this case against India and Afghanistan). Their reckless behavior has come to bite them in the ass making their country a hotbed of extremism and turmoil.

We like to pretend that it is impossible for a fundamentalist overthrow of Pakistan to happen...as if it didn't happen in Egypt and Libya and right now in Syria.
