Argument at Aria involving Las Vegas rapper leads to deadly Strip shooting, crash

A Maserati driven by Las Vegas rapper Kenneth Cherry, known as Kenny Clutch, was the target of a drive-by shooting on the Strip Thursday morning that left Cherry and two innocent bystanders dead.

Las Vegas police said several occupants of a black Range Rover fired into the Maserati at about 4:30 a.m. at Las Vegas Boulevard South and Flamingo Road following a dispute in the valet parking area of the Aria.

The Maserati ran a red light at Flamingo and crashed into a taxi, which exploded. The cab's driver and a passenger were killed, their bodies burned beyond recognition.

Sgt. John Sheahan said the driver of the Maserati was fatally shot. A passenger in Clutch's car suffered an arm injury and was taken to University Medical Center. He was cooperating with police.

The gun nuts are getting their carnage.

In fact overall murder rates have been falling since the mid-1990s. Multiple shootings are getting more attention in the news now that they usually do.

This one has the titillating elements of an SUV, an exotic sports car, and Las Vegas, so it's perfect for the media to exploit as bait to suck people into being brainwashed by advertising to go out and buy shit.

It's kind of depressing that we can be so sanguine about our totally not unexpected mass shootings, not to mention the run of the mill ones with only one or two dead.

My America, where gun violence is a ho-hum kind of thing.

A Scripps-Howard News study showed that mass murders have stayed constant or risen slightly over the past 20 years even as the overall homicide rate has declined.

That means that multiple/mass homicide have increased as a percentage of homicide events.

Sounds to me like it could be a hit. Let's see if the driver of the Maserati turns out to be a casino owner.

the Masarati was not shooting, only the Range Rover, reports say it was not a "rolling gun battle" after all.
They are being very secretive about this whole thing. By now they know who the Masarati victim was, the passenger survived, what is he/she saying? What do the videos show? No updates in hours.
Taxi was "propane powered"?

When you know someone who died in a shooting, your life changes. When it's many people who were killed at once, it changes your life and your view on many things. When it was someone you let into your own personal space for over 20 years, and the only person who ever cut your daughter's hair... and the woman who was in her chair, where you sat for hundreds of hours, is gunned down too... you start watching everyone who comes into whatever shop or salon you occupy.

What do we want? A well-regulated militia! When do we want it? NOW!! Everyone else needs to chill.
