Harry Reid: Jeb Bush ‘made a fool of himself’ with immigration reform proposal

Source: YAHOO NEWS, Chris Moody

With Congress still in the early stages of crafting a comprehensive and fragile immigration reform bill, House Majority Leader Harry Reid slammed Bush, and downplayed Bush's role in the national debate over the issue.

"His opinion on immigration is not evolving, it's devolving. He keeps going backwards," Reid said Tuesday when asked about Bush's comments. "I think he's frankly made a fool of himself the last 24 hours. Frankly on this issue, I don't think Jeb Bush is a Florida leader. I think Marco Rubio is. Bush has been elected to nothing lately. Rubio is the leader on immigration. He wants to have an immigration bill; I appreciate that."

Bush's comments appear to be a reversal from June 2012, when he said he "would support" a "path to citizenship" for illegal immigrants.

and I like the plain-spoken way he put it. No equivocation.

And it didn't hurt that he started driving a wedge between Bush and Rubio. Nothing wrong with stirring the pot a little.

I am here to state
I'm here to relate
To explain
And make it plain that:
I`m just wild about Harry
And Harry's wild about me
The heavenly blisses of his
Kisses fill me with ecstasy
He's sweet just like sugar candy
And just like honey from a bee
Oh, I`m just wild about Harry
And he's just wild about
He can't do without
He's just wild about me
Oh I`m just wild about Mandy
And Mandy's wild about me
Oh, I`m just wild about Harry
And Harry's wild about me
The heavenly blisses of his kisses
Fill me with ecstasy
He's sweet just like sugar candy
And just like honey from a bee
Oh, I`m just wild about Harry
And he's just wild about me

8. Harry Reid Called Out Jeb Bush

Mar 2013

Jeb Bush is a political opportunist. All he's trying to do is say something, anything that he hopes will resonate with the American people. He has no conviction about anything, except he desperately wants to be President. He thinks that if he lands on something,(he'll throw everything at the wall and pray something sticks, with the American people) then the republican party will take him as a serious candidate to lead their party. But it won't work because people can see right through him, they can see his desperation, he is just another pathetic excuse, he's a fake, it's NOT a true calling for him. And we've got three and a half more years of watching him embarrass himself in public.

Those might actually develop into real leadership skills, and you know you can't do that.

on a lighter side, anything a Bush says makes fools of themselves.

If you compliment "any" Republican they are instantly tarnished. If you attack any Republican no matter how stupid their position they are locked in.

There is no longer disagreement in GOP positions. The GOP who has been conducting a Cold Civil War with Democrats is now in an internal Civil War. Good for Harry even a spineless twerp can appear to be a genius.
