Nancy Pelosi Blames George W. Bush For IRS Scandal

Source: Huffington Post

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) blamed former President George W. Bush for the IRS' targeting of tea party groups in the lead-up to the 2012 election. According to NowThisNews' Julie Eckert, Pelosi claimed Bush is responsible for the scandal because he appointed Douglas Shulman, former commissioner of the IRS. Shulman, who was appointed in 2008, left his post in November 2012, when his term expired.

While facing questions from lawmakers on Tuesday, Shulman said he doesn't know why his agency targeted conservative groups seeking tax exempt status.

"I very much regret that it happened and that it happened on my watch," Shulman said. While blaming Bush, Pelosi defended President Barack Obama, who has called the scandal "outrageous."

“Well the President doesn’t know about everything that is going on in every agency of government,” Pelosi said. “Should Mr. Boehner have known that this is his neighboring district and in Cincinnati where the IRS office is? I don’t think you can hold him accountable for what happened in that IRS office.”

than that because what she said makes a lotta sense. He is a Bush appointee and and that office is in Boner's district. Are you trying to defend those two? She isn't the first to make that connection. I did it long before she did concerning Shulman in my posts on this Board. So you would be putting me in the same boat with Pelosi. Miller was only the Acting commissioner after Shulman left. I don't know why Obama would fire him?

It is also where that idiot (Chris Matthews) and his media pals are far off base trying to attach this to Liberals and Democrats. Both Lerner and Shulman got their offices in the IRS under the Bush Administration. Not only that, the main Republican Party openly were trying to discredit the Tea Party during the 2012 election, so they had a clear motive to target them, not the Democrats. The Democratic Party had very little motive to target the Tea Party, because we were very happy to campaign against those idiots. Do you remember Todd Adkins? The Tea Party had no chance getting voters from the Obama Coalition. So why the hell do you think Democrats would target the Tea Party? Chris Matthews is an idiot!

And that is even without taking into consideration the possibility of this reptile's having deliberately messed things up to gain some political edge for his party in its crusade against President Obama....

“I wish there was more GOP interest when I raised the same issue during the Bush administration, where they audited a progressive church in my district in what look liked a very selective way,” California Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff said on MSNBC Monday. “I found only one Republican, [North Carolina Rep. Walter Jones], that would join me in calling for an investigation during the Bush administration. I’m glad now that the GOP has found interest in this issue and it ought to be a bipartisan concern.”

9. Blaming Bush never gets old, does it?

Reagan is still blamed for social problems resulting from turning the mentally ill out of asylums, so I figure we have at least two more decades of mileage off of Bush.

The result is an example of why dogs eat their young. They notice some kind of defect that needs to be stopped. The mainstream Republicans were noticing their numbers diminishing and the crazy beginning to take over. Orin(R-UT) was so frightened he started working hard on his reelection. Watch him to see why the IRS was so interested...
