Brooklyn Bridge Closed as Police Investigate Abandoned Vehicle

Source: NBC New York

The Brooklyn Bridge is shut down in both directions as police respond to an abandoned vehicle.

The SUV on the Manhattan-bound side was found unoccupied. Police are investigating.

.... when that happened, my mind wandered to the macabre, thinking what if there's a heavy duty bomb in that car and it takes down a portion of the bridge. Maybe it was a test run? They MUST have cameras on that bridge. Maybe they actually watched the folks who got out and abandoned it and put a tail on them? I love mysteries...
