Three NATO soldiers, civilian killed in attacks in Afghanistan

KABUL | Sat Jun 1, 2013 4:19pm EDT

(Reuters) - Three NATO soldiers and a civilian working with the international military coalition in Afghanistan were killed in three incidents on Saturday, officials said.

The attacks underscored the dangers faced by ISAF troops, even as they hand over much of the fighting to Afghan security forces ahead of a planned withdrawal next year.

In the east, a soldier and a civilian were killed in one incident, and a second soldier was killed in another, said a spokeswoman for the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF).

A third soldier was killed in the southern Afghan capital of Kandahar, officials told Reuters.

That whole fucking occupation is one gigantic racket. It's cost us, what, a trillion dollars or so? I wonder where that money went.

Besides in Karzai's pocket, I mean.

And paying off warlords to be on our side. Go team!

Obama says most troops out by the end of next year, but now we want permanent bases.

Meanwhile, lets drop drones on people who want to kill us, creating more people who want to kill us, so we drop more drones on people who want to kill us, creating more people who want to kill us, so we drop more drones on people who want to kill us, creating more people who want to kill us...and some assholes will be getting rich off the racket.
