Blessings to the Colbert family. The love and compassion they manifest in their lives is a reflection of what they were taught by this "special lady" as Stephen called her after her recent illness.

Wednesday's episode with Paul McCartney was repeated last night.

it was taped in mid-afternoon (presumably on Wednesday). I suppose he could have left for South Carolina as soon as the taping ended, if the family had any idea that she was that ill.

had a car accident trying to drive to his dad who was dying. So had to take the mustang in the snow. (real wheel) couple weeks later he slid (cops say he didn't BS) thru an intersection with that Mustang and got T boned. One car hit him that spun the car into another car ... Either way. 4 yr old mustang totaled. so I had to take a shocked mom to the hospital because I was worried about her driving. Basically a head wound. Think he's had memory loss from that. , he's rather Right wing . but Still my dad. Dec 13 2008 will be remembered till I have no idea

They did a rerun last night with McCartney. Stephen kept his mother smiling after their 1974 tragedy that took the father and two siblings. Heart felt condolences to the Colbert family.

I wish I could give him a hug. I remember him talking about her with real apparent adoration. Awwww. I hate this.
