Veteran media reporter Howard Kurtz is leaving CNN and joining Fox News, the network announced Thursday afternoon.
Kurtz will anchor a version of "Fox News Watch," a weekend show focusing on media criticism. He has hosted "Reliable Sources," a weekend media criticism program on CNN, since 1998.

(15,438 posts)He's been pro-Republican, anti-Democrat since Bill Clinton was elected president. In "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them", I believe Al Franken wrote about how Kurtz rolled his eyes when FLOTUS Hillary Clinton was giving a presser. I knew then and there he was just another Jonathan Karl in neutral journalist clothing, and his going over to the dark {propaganda} side only underscores how correct my instincts have been.

I have watched "News Watch" and believe that Kurtz will turn it more to the right. There was always a token lefty on the show --- Kurtz will skew that.
