That's not what I just heard boehner say. He wants a "meaningful dialog and negotiations" to postpone the debt ceiling.

The government and returning furloughed workers to work would be a win for republicans. They get to keep the Obama administration from doing any good for the country without causing global mayhem. Democrats should insist on budget deal and a long term increase in debt limit. Otherwise reps will keep gov shutdown going forever.
