Republicans Back Down, Ending Crisis Over Shutdown and Debt Limit

Source: NY Times

Despite the fact that we potentially get to go through this all again just after New Year's, for now I'm just reveling in the phrase "Republicans Back Down." So please, don't rain on my parade.

This would have passed by a slightly less majority if members
had been freed from their caucuses weeks ago.

It's the Tea Party that's been cowed.

All that drama, all that interference with lives and markets, all
the financial worries to please the Tea Party Drama Queens. They
tanked the markets on Tuesday afternoon

This is an annual thing now .... just like last year with the "ROMNEY
IS WINNING" polls ... political con men who think they can lead the public
around by the nose

And they'll be right back repealing Obamacare as soon as public scrutiny turns elsewhere

Repealing Obamacare will be the Elvis of our times

Obama or the Obama administration has demonstrated a remarkable sense of political
timing, strategy, and implementation. They know what to make a big issue of, and when

Masterful

Can't wait to see how the M$M spins this as "Obama finally compromises" and "Bipartisanship solved the debt crisis"
