Top members of hacking group LulzSec arrested

Source: USAToday

A law enforcement official says top members of the hacking collective LulzSec have been arrested, the Associated Press reports.

LulzSec is an offshoot of the loose network of hackers, Anonymous, which is accused of breaking into a string of government and corporate sites.

Fox News, in an exclusive report, says officers on two continents nabbed three LulzSec leaders early today and charged two more with conspiracy.

Fox says the authorities were acting largely on evidence gathered by the organization's leader who, according to unidentified sources, has been secretly working for the government for months.

hree top members of the infamous computer hacking group LulzSec have been reportedly arrested by law enforcement agencies in the UK and the United States. Two others are charged with conspiracy.

Law enforcement agents arrested two men from Great Britain, two from Ireland, and an American in Chicago. Charges against them are based on a conspiracy case filed in New York federal court.

The arrests were made possible, the report says, after turning the group’s "senior leader", Hector Xavier Monsegur, who is believed to be a cooperative witness after the FBI unmasked him last June.

A FBI informant found a group that wanted to have a social club teach street kids Martial arts.
They needed a sponsor and the "cooperative witness" lead them into a plan to bomb a building that didn't even exist in Chicago?

Or the time they were going to blow up an airport by setting a match to a fuel pipeline miles away?

Some things are just jokes. (not the supposed 'acts' but the manufactured "threats&quot

Happened in the Green Scare, but the Green Scare also had infiltrators. The anonymous' peeps who got caught didn't cover their tracks effectively enough.
