Christina Genovese Renna, Chris Christie Staffer, Resigns Amid Probe

Source: Huffington Post

TRNETON, N.J. (AP) — A member of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie's administration who has been subpoenaed in an alleged political payback investigation has resigned.

Christina Genovese Renna left the governor's office Friday, the same day former Christie loyalist David Wildstein claimed to have evidence contradicting the governor's account of a lane closing operation, apparently to create traffic chaos as a political vendetta.

Renna reported to Deputy Chief of Staff Bridget Kelly, who apparently set the lane closings in motion with an email to Wildstein.

on behalf of the governor's office. A constituent relations position. No doubt calls to the governor about the bridge were funneled through her office. But the bridge is really only a small part of this whole story. Its about all the other evil things they've done that have come to light because of the bridge closing.

Ms. Renna is indicative of the pipeline some special interests have directly to the governor's office. She's married to Michael Renna, the President and Chief Operating Officer of South Jersey Energy Solutions, a subsidiary of South Jersey Industries. He also held senior executive positions with South Jersey Industries. Why is this important? The Pinelands Pipeline that the Christie administration tried to muscle through the Pinelands Commission (that's entry #2 in the Christie Crime Digest for everyone keeping score at home) was a project of ...wait for it...South Jersey Industries. Oh my! Conflict of interest anyone? And fear not for Ms. Genovese-Renna being without a job, Mr. Renna's income as reported by South Jersey Industries was approximately $662,514 last year. I think they'll scrape by.

Projects like the pipeline are 1000 times more damaging than the bridge caper in social terms. But it took the bridge incident to really shine the light on all of the other slimy critters running around this administration.

No, really, I am really starting to like this Christie movie, it happening a lot faster than I thought. With almost every new angle directly relatable to the films noted above or The Sopranos or Mean Streets or
FUGEDDABBOUDIT....

Think of where we are RIGHT NOW with this chuch Governor and THEN WHERE WE WERE with him and his Presidential ambitions that stupid day after his re-election with the pundits virtually going down on him after when the fucking NJ and National Dems layed down for him. Cory Booker LETTING him change the election day, I never heard him bitch about it. He could have but I didn't hear it. Did you... $25,000,000 WTF!!!

Poor Buono is now ex State Senator because duhhh, I guess ya can't be like LOSERMAN and lose one election and win another...

He might have been the first Italian-Amercan President, would have sucked, probably worse than Rudy...but...

Now he's set back Italian-Americans 50 years, but hopefully he going to Rahway Prison, where the phrase "tossin' someones salad" was first heard in a prison documentary on HBO, just ask Chris Rock. ("some with syrup, some with jelly&quot
