GOP Candidate Allegedly Joked About Gunshot Patients’ X-Rays on Facebook
Source: Mediaite
GOP candidate for U.S. Senate Milton Wolf responded to charges that he posted X-rays of injured gunshot patients on social media and joked about them. Wolf, who says he is a distant relation of President Barack Obama and is the author of First, Do No Harm: The Presidents Cousin Explains Why His Hippocratic Oath Requires Him to Oppose ObamaCare, is challenging incumbent Senator Pat Roberts (R-KA) in Kansas GOP primary.
In one instance, Wolf posted an X-ray of a patient decapitated by gunfire. One of my all-time favorites, he wrote. From my residency days there was a pretty active knife and gun club at Truman Medical Center. What kind of gun blows somebodys head completely off? Ive got to get one of those.
It reminds (me) of the scene from Terminator 2, he continued, when they shoot the liquid metal terminator guy in the face at close range and it kind of splits him open temporarily almost like a flower blooming. We all find beauty in different things.
In a separate instance Wolf joked about repositioning a murdered patients head for an X-ray of his fatal gunshot wound. Its not like the patient was going to complain, he wrote. Topeka Capital-Journals Tim Carpenter alleged that according to the date of the posting and the comments, the X-ray was posted before the victims funeral. (Wolf refused to speculate on that.)

Video of the interview at the link.
Wolf said in response to another of the reporter's questions that his posting the x-rays was "an educational thing for people."
Only in the sense that he's teaching people that he's a psychopath.

(7,712 posts)MEET DR. MILTON WOLF
Milton Wolf is a doctor, not a politician.
He believes America must re-embrace the Constitution
and the divinely-inspired American Idea of individual liberty,
limited government and free-market values.
Want to drive Barack Obama crazy? Send his very own fearless
conservative cousin -- "the next Ted Cruz" -- to the
United States Senate!

"For any doctor to make patient records public and then use the records for public discussion and entertainment is just unthinkable," (Pat Roberts') spokesman Leroy Towns said. "Allegations of such lack of judgment demand extensive scrutiny and investigation."
Wolf reponded to Roberts in a statement Saturday, according to the Capital-Journal.
"The attack will not only target me," Wolf said, "but will, through its implications, cast a wider net to vilify all doctors."
The Senate Conservatives Fund, which has endorsed Wolf, defended him on Sunday.

Pat Roberts is trying to smear Dr. Wolf because Roberts doesn't live in Kansas anymore and lied to voters about it for years. #KSsen

Pat Roberts is dropping like a rock in the polls and is now desperately trying to destroy the reputation of a good doctor. #KSsen
Of course it's Wolf who's destroying his own reputation.
And while it's true that Roberts hasn't lived in Kansas for years, Wolf obviously isn't living in reality (and yes, I know, this makes him an ideal Tea Party candidate).
