Brown, Netanyahu sign deal to strengthen ties between California and Israel

MOUNTAIN VIEW -- Gov. Jerry Brown and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu signed a pro-business agreement Wednesday designed to strengthen economic and intellectual ties between Israel and California.
The agreement covers such issues as cyber security, water conservation, education, agricultural technology, health and biotechnology.
"Together we can solve these problems," Netanyahu said.
Brown said Israel has demonstrated how "efficient a country can be.''

(50,254 posts)Jerry Brown no longer has any right to claim to care about the fate of the Palestinian people. There's no difference between signing a trade deal with Israel and endorsing everything that Netanyahu has ever done or ever WILL do.
And it's not even good politics, because it goes without saying that Brown will be opposed by AIPAC if he runs for re-election since AIPAC pretty much only backs Republicans now(as Debby Wasserman Schultz can tell you).
