GOP-led House votes 51st time to unravel Obamacare

Source: ASSOCIATED PRESS

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Republican-controlled House has voted for the 51st time in 26 months to neuter the nation’s health care law.

The vote was 237-182 with nearly all Democrats opposed. Now the bill goes to the Senate, where it’s expected to die.

The measure would overhaul the system for paying doctors and others who treat Medicare patients. At the same time, it delays the penalty for failing to purchase coverage under the law. The combination prompted opposition by the American Medical Association. That’s despite the group’s advocacy for changes in the Medicare payment system.

The vote is the first attacking the president’s health care law since Republicans won an election for a House seat this week in a campaign that featured health care as an issue.

The only way to punish an elected official who acts insanely is for the voters to oust him. Also, unfortunately, the voters we're talking about are mostly insane.

where you couldn't continually bring up the same legislation over and over. At least, not without some kind of time limit.

The head of California's Dem delegation is Rep. Zoe Lofgren, whose office happens to be right down the street from my office. Methinks she needs to get a better grip on her troops.

Maybe someone can come along and tell me how great it is having a dino represent me. Frankly I don't see how his voting record is any different than that of a t-bagger in things that matter.

Even addle-brained voters ought to recognize when they're being swindled by the people who receive handsome salaries to DO this to the United States.

America approves all of this, thus demonstrating that we're the stupidest mass of people on earth.

for their medical care. Many Pharmacies too are 'out of network' and so can't share in any Federal money.

It's the 'for profit' medical care industry, drug & insurance companies and the giant treatment centers, that want to keep the federal money rolling in and cheat 'in network' personal (including -in network Doctors) out of a portion of their bill payment. That cheats the persons who need health care too.

I really think the "for profit" part of the healthcare industry and the very restricted 'network game' is against peoples rights.
