I've heard various sources suggesting that happened. I don't buy into it being a sign that the thing was a false flag or anything of that sort.

The race this year doesn't take place until Monday of next week.

I'm confused by their description. There hasn't been a race yet this year to my knowledge.

I edited that line out to avoid confusion.

Thanks for pointing it out, I guess I glossed over that.

&quot NECN) - A man was detained Tuesday night and the area near the Boston Marathon finish line evacuated after two unattended backpacks were found.

Boston Police said two backpacks were left unattended by the finish line around 8 p.m. Authorities say Boylston Street has been closed and they are asking the pedestrians and motorists to avoid the area.

NECN witnessed a man being put in the back of a police cruiser. Boston Police confirm that a male suspect is in custody in connection to the unattended backpacks; it is unknown if he is under arrest or if he was being questioned. Eyewitnesses said he was wearing all black with a veil covering his face. Video also shows he was not wearing any shoes."

With all those cops around there shouldn't have been a loose backpack within a mile.

15. Suspicious Backpacks?

And here I was thinking that the capacity for suspicion was a trait exclusively limited those of the living. A cerebral/emotive thing, you know? I knew that a backpack could be:

• Unattended.

• Abandoned.

• Unclaimed.

• Sitting, unattended, abandoned, unclaimed and is now all alone by itself.

• Or, maybe it can even be used as a flotation device in the event of an emergency.

- But I still don't think they can be suspicious.
