Tupelo, MS: Tornado Slams Mississippi Town, Leaves Severe Damage (+Photos, Video)

Tupelo, Mississippi got slammed by a tornado on Monday.

Preliminary damage reports indicate that there’s dozens of homes and other buildings that got hit.

Shawn Reynolds of the Weather Channel said that some of the first reports say that several tractor-trailers were blown off the road at Highways 45 and 78.

No reports of deaths or injuries have come in yet but the state emergency management said that “it’s still early” and a very active situation.
