North Korea unleashes racist slurs against Obama
Source: MSN NEWS
SEOUL, South Korea (AP) After bombarding South Korea's female president with sexist invectives, North Korea's state news agency has fired off racist insults against President Barack Obama that U.S. officials condemn as "disgusting."
North Korea is notorious for inflammatory, warlike rhetoric against its rivals South Korea and the U.S. but had rarely used racial slurs in its verbal attacks. Pyongyang's tone has grown angrier in recent weeks as it threatens to conduct a fourth nuclear test.
In a lengthy May 2 dispatch released only in Korean, Pyongyang's Korean Central News Agency published comments from a factory worker who said Obama has the "shape of a monkey" and made many other crude insults.
"It would be better for him to live with other monkeys at a wild animal park in Africa ... and licking bread crumbs thrown by onlookers," worker Kang Hyok at Chollima Steel Complex was quoted as saying.

See what happens when we let all the racist (GOP) comments slide by? Thanks a lot Fox So-called News. You helped this happen.

(13,133 posts)more to what side they show up on. The Human population is ever increasingly being challenged by itself and the situations it has created. Making a cop out excuse about who and or what race is responsible for the situation does remedy any relief for it and maybe just as much as anything else actually exacerbates our situations for which we seek solutions.
The GOP and North Korea seem to have a lot in common and that is why it's of interest

(6,604 posts)As any country probably does, North Korea tries to keep its finger on the pulse of the politics of other nations.
Given the rise of the Tea Party as a political voice for all those types who really enjoy painting their racist portraits of Obama, it seems obvious to me that What's-his-name is trying in his own backward way to try a little Putin-in-Ukraine.
You could be right, race has always been a wedge issue, but it seems to have become more pronounced--even blatant--with our newly outspoken friends in the Repulican Party.
International rivals are well aware of the sentiment. Perverse as North Korea's statement was, ask yourself just who it was really meant for.

It's like asking David Duke what he thinks and quoting him with great authority.

And you say "the North Koreans" as if you could lump them all behind the statement.
It's what the administration thinks, not the people, when it comes to official declarations.
Just like here--what do you think "the Americans" think or care about?

Oh and his night job must be the head of NK's government, because apparently whatever he says goes for the entire country judging by the way MSN decided to write that headline.
Poor English? Lame sensationalism? MSN: We 'report', you decide.

I know it sucks to think there may be a place on Earth worse than the United States to live in. But maybe there is!

What a pathetic brainwashed country. NK seems like some sort of bizarre social experiment...with nukes. It's incredible seeing footage of that country and its people. I've seen many youtube videos. It's just absolutely fascinating. You'll never see better choreographed bullshit anywhere in the world.
And no, our government has nothing on the Ills. Whatever our most esteemed marketing wizards have is amateurish compared to the propaganda team that created the God-family cult of personality over there.

(255 posts)Than President Obama. He was quite often depicted as a primate. Hopefully President Obama is mature enough to laugh it off and focus on the real issue of national security as NK becomes more and more of a threat. President Obama is quite handsome with a beautiful wife and daughters. No need to be offended by juvenile verbal assaults considering the source.
