Nancy Pelosi criticized on Koch film

Source: Politico

The show must go on — unless it breaks congressional rules.

Rep. Candice Miller, the chairwoman of the House Administration Committee, wrote to Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Monday saying a scheduled film screening of an anti-Koch brothers movie in the Capitol Visitor Center is violating House and Senate rules.

The screening for “Koch Brothers Exposed: 2014 Edition” is scheduled for Tuesday evening and both Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) will participate in a question and answer session for the film.

But, in letter obtained by POLITICO, Miller (R-Mich.) wrote that she has “several serious concerns” that using the Capitol Visitor Center for the film “may cross the line into partisan politics.”

almost ANY film “may cross the line into partisan politics.”

Pelosi and Reid should just offer Miller equal time for question and answer. That will probably shut him up, or he'll make a fool of himself in the process.

So the GOP can screen an anti-Soros film, and back and forth it goes and next thing you know one of the wing nuts will show a film "exposing" the President as being from Kenya.
Just making fools of themselves.

that the kochs have any standing at all.

what's the difference between a film about the kochs and a film about chairs? or sewage?

they all sit on chairs and contribute to the sewage, right?

so what if there are a few republicans mentioned in the film?

Gee, the Bush regime never worried about using Capitol assets for partisan purposes....remember when Republican Senator John Warner reserved a government room to crown that nut Moon "King of the World" and a bunch of GOP reps attended?

So I call bullshit on GOP poutrage.
