Alleged Gunman's Apartment Now A Crime Scene

Source: KEYT

The Santa Barbara County Coroner's team has established a crime scene at the apartment complex where suspected shooter Elliot Rodger claimed he lived, prior to Friday's mass murders in Isla Vista.

NewsChannel 3 witnessed forensics experts removing three bodies from the Capri apartment complex on the 6500 block of Seville Road Saturday afternoon.

There is no confirmation from authorities whether this latest discovery increases the number of people killed, which stands at seven, including the gunman.

The timing is significant based on a more than one hundred page manifesto Rodger allegedly published hours before the killings. "On the day before the Day of Retribution, I will start the First Phase of my vengeance: Silently killing as many people as I can around Isla Vista by luring them into my apartment through some form of trickery."

out there. Somebody mentioned to me that the young man had become anti-women and had joined a few mysoginst organizations, one that was specific for pick-up-artists (PUA).

What we otherwise call a "misogynist piece of shit". I've seen these types out in the bar scene. I was once friends with one. He just wanted to woo any girl in sight and try to get laid while I just wanted to chat with people, drink beer, and enjoy the night. Naturally that conflicted with his goals, and I was disgusted with his disrespect of women, so I stopped hanging out with him pretty quickly.

never had that entitlement if getting the girls never had one fall for me but some guys live to be 114 and they don't go round killing people. ie the line of what do all the nice girls fall for the bad guys. have no idea. maybe thats changing and we have this idiot here. won't call him by his name. I just say idiot , mr stupid. I'm 38 almost 39 suffering from depression but think more about hurting myself than anyone else. I'd gladly take care of the house if I found someone. was more into photography anyway..

I was bullied for that by a college roommate who later came out as gay. People deal with things differently. I just accepted it and found other stuff to occupy my time. I always felt it pointless to blame others because then I would have no control over changing my own situation.

The Serenity prayer has the right views on this:
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.

I hope you're getting help for the depression. I've been there. Counseling and medication helps.

To paraphrase, "Don't worry about getting laid right now, worry about getting laid in a year, or two years. Go to the gym, read books... turn yourself into an attractive, interesting person that other people will like."

I thought that was some fine advice.

I feel badly for the family that supported him.

His Stepmother and brother are VERY lucky to be alive.
