Shots fired at Troutdale’s Reynolds High School

Police are at Reynolds High School in Troutdale, where gunshots have reportedly been fired, according to a law enforcement source.
Multiple agencies are responding. Sixty police and sheriff’s units are reportedly on scene, as well as 19 medical personnel.

Fox News ‘expert’ reports breaking Oregon school shooting by blasting ‘anti-gun nuts’

Fox News resident psychiatrist and Medical A-Team member Dr. Keith Ablow used an active shooting situation at an Oregon high school to pre-emptively attack “anti-gun nuts” for wanting to talk about gun saftey laws.
As the news was breaking of a shooting at Reynolds High School in Troutdale that reportedly left at least one person dead, Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle asked Ablow to talk about what could have led to the shooting.
“So often we see people are making these choices, some of it is premeditated,” Guilfoyle explained. “There are thoughts that they’ve recorded in a diary, online, in YouTube videos. Perhaps they’ve been seeking the help from a mental help professional — like yourself — troubled individuals, maybe problems at home. We have to try and unravel it to find out how it happened.”
“I think Americans may finally be getting the idea that the first thing they should think about is mental health gone awry in this system we have that’s so fractured that let’s people slip through the cracks,” Ablow opined.
“But the anti-gun nuts, they will be out in force, saying it’s all the guns,” he continued. “I predict that we’ll find again that yet another person who used a gun was compromised by one or more psychological or psychiatric illnesses that could have been detected.”

Well, we're getting close -- he's the right age to be a student, and I doubt that a gunman unfamiliar with the school would have found the bathroom so quickly.

According to multiple law enforcement officials, the shooter was a student at the school. The gunman appears to have died from a self-inflicted wound, the sources told CNN.

A student at the school shot and killed another student before apparently taking his own life.
The shooter had an AR-15 rifle and a brown paper bag filled with more than 20 fully-loaded magazines as well as knives, a law enforcement source told CNN.
He entered the building that houses the school gym. He shot and killed...14-year-old freshman Emilio Hoffman...in a locker room, then apparently took his own life. His body was found in a restroom.
Police haven't yet disclosed the shooter's identity - or, more importantly, what compelled him to carry out such a horrifying act.
So they finally admitted that the shooter was a fellow student. Perhaps they've withholding his name out of consideration for both families. Or maybe it's because he's a minor.
Despite all the heavy artillery, however, I don't think the objective was to "take out" as many as he could. Sounds like he entered through the gym and sprayed some gunfire around (grazing a teacher) just to keep everyone from keeping him away from his real target -- Hoffman, who he knew would be in the locker room.
Which leaves the question of motive. A political statement? A hate crime? Revenge of a nerd? A personal vendetta? And don't laugh at the idea of a love triangle: My nephew's school once suspended two girls for fighting...over my nephew. And they were only TEN years old!
