Whistleblower on Florida economic agency fraud wins lawsuit, attorney says

Source: Miami Herald

TALLAHASSEE -- A former employee of the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity who uncovered “systemic” fraud within the agency has won a whistleblower lawsuit against the state, her attorney said Monday.

The whistleblower, 30-year state employee Dianne Parcell, discovered 97 instances in which the agency had inappropriately reported Floridians to collection agencies for alleged unemployment overpayments. Parcell reported the findings to her supervisors, but was told to drop her investigation, she said.

Parcell submitted a whistleblower letter in August 2012, she said. She was placed on administrative leave the following day and later fired.

A subsequent investigation revealed that as many as 19,000 Floridians had been wrongly reported to collections agencies, attorney Keisha Rice said.

Time after time, he proves the accuracy of our his depiction as Voldemort. The man just doesn't have a heart or soul and only cares for two things - $$$$$ adn the power it buys.

There just isn't a whistleblower there yet.

The difference is they confiscate your Social Security. When you try to question it, nobody knows which court it came from. They all deny knowledge of order to lien.

6. Sen Schumer inserted (successfully) collection agencies for IRS debtors into the budget bill

It's disgraceful, immoral plus a complete giveaway of public money to the slimiest bottom feeders in private finance.

Every time now I get a contribution request from Schumer, I email back that he & his purely evil little rider on the budget bill disgust me.

That Rick Scott is working for the same sewage financial corps is no surprise. The only surprise is that in this case there is a middle man in the particular grifting. His medicare millions fraud went straight into Scott's pocket in CEO shares & bonuses. His mandatory urine drug testing fees went straight to labs he owns under his wife's name.

Mad respect to this Fla Whistleblower.
