GM RECALLS ANOTHER 7.6 MILLION VEHICLES, MODELS GOING BACK TO 1997

General Motors is recalling another 7.6 million vehicles.

The latest recall includes cars from the 1997 to 2014 model years.

GM also said it expects to take a charge of up to $1.2 billion in Q2 due to this recall. This amount is in addition to the previously disclosed $700 million charge.

That's more cars recalled in the first 6 months of 2014 than GM sold in all of 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Looks like the Treasury had a little inside info when it chose its moment to sell its GM stock.

9. I have an 8 year old Corolla, and got a recall notice.

I didn't pay attention to it because we'd had the car so long with no issues—I kind of figured our model didn't have the faulty part.
Toyota called our home to remind us of the recall. Believe it or not, the next day, the part on recall acted up; I made an appointment to have it looked at.
They replaced the part on recall, and it fixed the problem 100%.
I'll never ignore another recall.

Recalls , DEATHS...Hiding the problem for 11 years???
They are criminals in the worst way....

And the stock fall 32 cents today...what a laugh...Corporations suck
