Sorry, I can open the link but not cut n' paste paragraphs from it. For further info, also see: www.peoplesclimatemarch.org. I was at the final planning meeting tonight and the place was packed. Organizers say there are over 1,000 organizations participating. March will go through midtown Manhattan. People are coming from all over. It's gonna be HUGE.

(14,691 posts)but I just tried it and it didn't work. From the flyers I got tonight, there's a panel "The Climate Crisis: Which Way out? Saturday 9/20 from 8 to 10 pm at Unitarian Church of All Souls, 1157 Lexington Ave. corner of E. 80th street. Opening remarks by Sen Bernie Sanders, panelists: Bill McKibben, Naomi Klein, Chris Hedges and Kshamsa Sawant. ( don't know where you're coming from but if you're interested in that, take the Lexington Ave. subway to either 77th street (local stop) and walk up Lexington Ave. 3 blocks or if on an express train, to 86th Street and walk down. I'll look for more among the handouts and email to you if you want. Let me know. (it's getting to be past my bedtime LOL.) Hopefully the link will work again soon. I'll email the organizers and tell them the problem.
Edit: I'll bookmark this so I can respond to you again with more info.
