More election night problems in Waukesha

Source: JSOnline (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)

Waukesha - Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus may have done her re-election campaign no favors Tuesday night when her plans to post timely election results online for the public and update them periodically failed.

When her staff went to upload data delivered by local clerks in packs and cards into her computer program, it didn't work.

"We were shocked," she said, saying she and her staff had tested the program "many times."

"staff went to upload data delivered by local clerks in packs and cards into her computer program,"

Nickolaus has used "her own" programs to tally votes before. Literally HER program, not a program recommended or provided through the secretary of state.

She's very big on her personal computer skills, even though things just keep on surprising her.
