The second Ebola patient treated at the Nebraska Medical Center is virus-free, health officials say.
Doctors treating Ashoka Mukpo, the 33-year-old freelance journalist from Providence, Rhode Island, received word Tuesday afternoon that a second test showed he no longer has the often-deadly virus in his blood. He will be free to leave the hospitals biocontainment unit Wednesday morning. He is scheduled to speak at an 11 a.m. press conference.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention requires two negative blood tests 24 hours apart before a patient can be declared free of the Ebola virus.

No news is supposed to be good news, right?

DALLAS, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) The first nurse from Dallas to to get infected with the deadly ebola virus is finally getting some good news.
On Tuesday Nina Phams clinical status was upgraded to fair to good according to the National Institute for Health Clinical Center, the clinical research hospital for the National Institutes of Health.
The hospital says Pham expresses her gratitude for everyones concerns and well wishes.

There has been no recent update on the condition of the second Dallas nurse, Amber Joy Vinson, who was also infected with ebola.
